Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion takes place during second grade.

This preparation is done by the second grade religion teacher under the supervision of the parish Director of Religious Education.

While catechetical formation takes place during the school day, parents, as the child’s primary religious educator, are responsible for a major part of the catechetical process and must attend the First Holy Communion Retreat with their child.

Sacramental preparation is also available for those families seeking sacraments (Baptism, Reconciliation, First Holy Communion) for their children in other grades.
